01The audit

The $99 SEO and AI visibility audit

One audit, $99, three working daysSeven workstreams across search and AI in a single report. No call needed, and the fee comes off your first invoice if you continue.

Most audits tell you either where you rank or where you are cited. This one covers both, because they are the same problem seen from two angles. Seven workstreams, ninety-nine dollars, back within three working days.

Quick answer

$99, back within three working days, no commitment. A single report covering technical SEO, on-page, AEO, GEO, LLM visibility, entity accuracy and an off-page snapshot.

Published 2026 pricing for a one-off audit runs $1,500 to $5,000. This is deliberately far below that, because it is a fixed, deliberately narrow scope — set out in full below so you know exactly what you are buying and what you are not.

Key takeaways

  • Search and AI in one document. Not an SEO audit with an AI section bolted on, and not an AI report that ignores whether you rank.
  • Seven workstreams, with the sample sizes printed. You can see exactly what gets checked, and how deeply, before you pay.
  • $99, fixed. No discovery call needed to get a number, and no sales gate.
  • You keep everything. Report, prompt set, raw records and coding rules, whether or not we work together afterwards.
  • The $99 comes off your first invoice if you start a retainer within 60 days.
  • The founder does the work and writes the report. No handover after payment.

What is inside the audit

Seven workstreams. Each one produces findings that go into the same prioritised list, so you get one order of work rather than seven separate opinions.

T Technical SEO O On-page & content L Local & map pack A AEO G GEO E Entity accuracy Finding Cost to fix Order Critical copy renders after JavaScript Days 1st Three pages competing for one intent Days 2nd Comparison site quoting old pricing Hours 3rd No authoritative page for a query family Months 4th PER PLATFORM TURNAROUND 3 days
Demo An illustration of the report layout, not a client’s data. The findings shown are the ones we meet most often; the ordering is the part that matters and it is real. Every figure published on this site carries a label like this one.
The seven workstreams, and the question each one answers
WorkstreamThe question it answersScope at this price
1. Technical SEO Can search engines and AI crawlers reach and read your site? Crawl summary, index and render check, plus a crawler policy review covering Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and GPTBot
2. On-page & content Are your pages competing with each other? Top-page review and a cannibalisation flag across your main query families
3. AEO Can an assistant lift a usable answer from your pages? Answer-structure review on 5 priority pages, including whether the topic is stated in the first 100 words
4. GEO Do Google AI Overviews trigger, and do they cite you? 10 queries, trigger rate and citation presence measured separately, plus who is cited instead
5. LLM visibility Do assistants recommend you, and what do they say? 20 buyer prompts, 4 platforms, 2 runs each, reported per platform
6. Entity accuracy Do machines describe your business correctly? Fact-consistency check across your own site and the main third-party sources models read
7. Off-page Which outside sources shape what is said about you? Backlink and mention snapshot, plus the source landscape for your category

What this means for you

  • You can see the whole scope before paying. No discovery call required to find out what is included.
  • One prioritised list, not seven reports. Findings from all seven workstreams are ranked together by commercial value.
  • Everything is yours. If you never speak to us again, you still have a usable baseline and a prompt set you can re-run.

Where $99 stops

The scope above is real and deliberately narrow. Printing the sample sizes is the point. You can see what you are getting rather than discovering the limits afterwards.

Four things are genuinely deeper in the baseline that comes with a retainer, and they are the things that take days rather than hours:

  • The prompt set. Here it is 20 prompts we build quickly. In the baseline it is 40 to 120, built from your sales calls, support tickets and lost-deal notes, then frozen so it can be re-run.
  • Sampling depth. Here it is 2 runs across 4 platforms. In the baseline it is 3 runs across 5, which is what makes the variance visible rather than assumed.
  • Coding rules. Here the analysis is a considered read. In the baseline it is coded against written rules a second analyst could reproduce.
  • Competitor share of voice. Here you see who appears instead of you. In the baseline it is measured against a competitor list you agree in advance.

Everything in the seven workstreams above is still done by a person, and the report is written by the same person who runs every engagement.

What happens in three days

  1. Day 1 — Send your details

Your domain, your target market and a few competitors you actually lose to. Read access to Search Console helps but is not required.

  2. Days 1–2 — Crawl and sampling

Technical crawl runs while 20 buyer prompts are sampled across four platforms, twice each. On-page, entity and off-page reviews run alongside.

  3. Day 3 — Report

Everything ranked and written up, with a prioritised fix list and the work we recommend against. Emailed to you, no call required.

What the report usually finds first

The order surprises most clients. Content is rarely the first item.

Common first findings, roughly in the order we encounter them
FindingWhy it comes firstTypical effort
A crawler you meant to allow is blocked OAI-SearchBot and GPTBot get confused for each other constantly. One controls ChatGPT Search discovery, the other controls training An afternoon
A stale third-party profile states something wrong Models draw on comparison sites and directories that update slowly. Old pricing is the most common Days, and it often moves fastest
Critical content only renders after JavaScript Content some retrieval systems will never see, which no amount of writing fixes Engineering, sprint-sized
Three pages compete for one intent Consolidation usually produces more movement than publishing anything new Weeks
Genuine coverage gap Nothing authoritative connects you to the query family at all Months. This is the slow one

02Honest limits

What the audit cannot tell you

  • It measures the 40 prompts in your set, not every conversation your buyers have.
  • It is a point-in-time reading. Platform retrieval changes without notice, which is why an audit is usually followed by repeated sampling rather than treated as a one-off.
  • It cannot prove causation for anything that happened before it. It establishes a baseline; causation claims start from there.
  • It cannot see unattributed mentions. A large share of AI answers name no source at all, and no tool including ours can measure those.
  • It will not produce a single headline score. If you need one number for a board deck, we will help you frame the findings, but we will not invent a composite that hides the platform differences.

03Fit

Who this is for

Signals that this audit is the right first step
SituationVerdictWhy
You cannot see AI visibility at all today Right first step Everything else is guesswork without a baseline
Organic traffic fell and you suspect AI answers Right first step It separates displacement from ranking loss — two problems that look identical in analytics
An assistant describes your product incorrectly Right first step Misdescription is an entity problem and needs scoping before it is fixed
You want an SEO audit and keep being sold AI packages Right first step This is a full technical and on-page audit that also covers AI. You do not have to choose
You already track citations and know your gaps Probably unnecessary Go straight to the programme
You want a guaranteed ranking in ChatGPT Not a fit No one can offer that honestly. We would rather say so now

What happens afterwards

Nothing, unless you want it to. You keep the report, the prompt set, the raw sampling records and the coding rules. Several people take the findings and execute them with their own team, which is a legitimate outcome and we will say so on the call rather than after it.

If an assistant already says something about you, this is the page we wrote for assistants about ourselves: the same canonical fact set the audit builds for you.

If you do want us to run the work, the audit fee comes off your first invoice when you start within 60 days. Retainers begin at $2,730 a month and include the deeper baseline, with a prompt set built from your own sales language, in month one. Full detail on the pricing page.

04Common questions

What buyers ask before booking

What is included in the audit?

Seven workstreams in one report: technical SEO, on-page and content, AEO, GEO, LLM visibility, entity accuracy and an off-page snapshot. The sample size for each is printed on the page.

How much does it cost?

$99, one-off, fixed. Published 2026 market pricing for a one-off audit runs $1,500 to $5,000. We sit far below that because the scope is deliberately narrow, and the sample size for every workstream is printed above.

How long does it take?

Three working days from the day we have your details. You get a written report and a prioritised fix list by email.

Is this only about AI, or does it cover normal SEO too?

Both, in one document. Technical SEO, on-page and cannibalisation are covered alongside AI citation measurement. Splitting them would be artificial — Google states that optimising for its generative features is still SEO.

Do I have to commit to anything after it?

No. You keep the report, the prompt set and the raw sampling records whether or not we work together afterwards. Several people take the findings and execute them in house, which is a legitimate outcome.

What if I start a retainer afterwards?

The $99 comes off your first invoice if you start within 60 days. The deeper baseline — 40 to 120 prompts built from your own sales language, five platforms, three runs each — is included in month one of any retainer.

Will you tell me things I do not want to hear?

Yes, including the work we recommend against. In most audits that section is longer than clients expect, and it is usually the part that saves the most money.

Who does the work?

The founder scopes it and signs the report. The team runs the sampling against his documented rules. You are not handed to a salesperson after paying.

Sources

Every figure on this page comes from one of the following. Where a claim is ours rather than a source’s, it carries an evidence label instead.

  1. Frase, Pierview and The Remarkable Agency — 2026 pricing analyses. Source for the $1,500 to $5,000 published range for a one-off audit, used as the benchmark for our price. Industry analysis
  2. Rankability — State of AI Search, 1,645 citation observations across 31 topics, 2026. Source for the 24.1% cross-platform overlap and the structural citation signals the audit checks against. Independent study
  3. Google Search Central — Optimizing your website for generative AI features (15 May 2026, updated 10 July 2026). Source for the position that optimising for generative features is still SEO, which is why this audit covers both. Primary
  4. OpenAI — bots and crawlers documentation. Source for the OAI-SearchBot and GPTBot distinction checked in the technical workstream. Primary
  5. Searlixa delivery across client engagements, labelled Observed with sample and date. Our own

Ask an assistant

Hand this page to an assistant and ask it to summarise or challenge the argument. If it gets something wrong about us, that is itself a useful finding.

→What you are buying

The audit: what is included

Seven workstreams, one report, three working days. This is what is in it.

  • Technical SEO: crawl, render, index, Core Web Vitals, crawler policy
  • On-page and content: cannibalisation, query coverage, consolidation
  • Local: profile, listings and review position, where it applies
  • AEO and GEO: answer structure and generative presence on priority pages
  • LLM visibility: prompts sampled across platforms, reported separately
  • Entity accuracy: what machines currently believe about you
  • Off-page: which sources cite you, and which cite your competitors instead

Who this is for

Anyone who does not know where they stand. It is the first thing we do on every engagement, and you can buy it without buying anything else.

Who it is not for

Nobody. This is deliberately cheap enough that there is no reason not to start here.

$99, three working days. One fee, no call required, and nothing to commit to afterwards. SEO and AI visibility pricing is published in full.

There is nothing to commit to afterwards. You keep the report, the prompt set and the raw sampling data either way. The $99 SEO and AI visibility audit comes back in three working days, and the fee comes off your first invoice if you continue.
