This site collects nothing

Quick answer

This website has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. It is static HTML with one stylesheet and zero JavaScript. It has two forms: an assessment request and a contact form, and they are the only place anything is collected.

The only personal data we hold is what you type into one of those forms, or send us by email, kept so we can reply.

What this document is. A factual description of how this website currently works, written by Searlixa rather than by a lawyer. It is accurate as of 28 August 2026 and deliberately narrow — it describes what we do, not what we might do.

When it must be revisited. This site now has contact forms. By the condition written on this page before they existed, that means this document is no longer sufficient on its own and needs review by qualified counsel in each market we serve. That review has not happened yet, and it is required before we take any payment.

Inside a form submission

Two forms exist, both on the contact page: an assessment request and a general contact form. Nothing is collected anywhere else on this site.

What a submission contains is exactly what you typed. The assessment form asks for your name, email and what you are seeing, and optionally your domain, market, industry and budget band. Every optional field can be left blank and the form still sends.

What happens to a form submission
QuestionAnswer
Where does it go? One email inbox, read by the founder
Does it pass through a third party? No. The handler runs on our own server, not on a form service
Is it stored in a database? No. It is emailed and not written to disk
Are you added to a mailing list? No. There is no list and no automated follow-up
Does the form set a cookie? No. Spam protection uses a hidden field and a timestamp instead, specifically to avoid one
Is there any JavaScript? No. Validation is your browser’s own
How long is it kept? In the inbox until the conversation ends, then deleted on request at any time

The address shown on this site, hello@searlixa.com, is a mailbox you can write to directly. The forms deliver to a separate internal address.

Everything this site collects

Nothing at all unless you submit a form. No page on this site collects anything as you read it. To be specific about what that means:

Every common tracking method, and whether this site uses it
MethodOn this site
Contact and assessment formsTwo. What they collect is below
Cookies of any kindNone
Analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, or similar)None
Advertising or remarketing pixelsNone
Embedded third-party contentNone
Externally hosted fonts or scriptsNoneno external requests at all

You can verify this. Open your browser's developer tools, look at the network and storage tabs, and you will find one HTML file, one stylesheet and nothing else.

What happens when you email us

If you email hello@searlixa.com, we hold your email address and whatever you chose to write, for the purpose of replying to you and, if you become a client, running the engagement.

  • We do not add you to a mailing list. There is no newsletter.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone.
  • We do not use your enquiry to build a marketing profile.
  • Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it for accounting reasons after an engagement.

Email reaches us through a standard commercial email provider, which processes it in the ordinary way any email provider does.

What our host can see

Worth stating plainly rather than leaving out. This site is served by a hosting provider, and like every web host it keeps server logs. Those typically include the IP address making the request, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string.

That is a technical necessity of serving a website, not something we use. We do not read those logs for marketing, do not build profiles from them, and do not connect them to any other information.

Your rights

Where data protection law applies to you — including UK GDPR and EU GDPR — you have rights to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your personal data.

Since the only personal data we hold about you is an email you sent us, exercising any of those rights is straightforward: email hello@searlixa.com and tell us what you want done.

When this will change

This document describes a site that does almost nothing. That will not stay true.

When we add a contact form, analytics, or take payment for the audit, this page will need to be rewritten and reviewed by qualified counsel in each market we serve. We will date and note that change rather than replacing this quietly.
