A measurement firm that also does the work
Searlixa is a search and AI visibility agency. We measure how brands are discovered across organic search, AI answers and agentic discovery, then close the gaps the measurement finds. We are a new firm, and this page is written so you can judge that honestly.
Why we exist
Something broke between mid-2025 and early 2026. Ahrefs measured the share of AI Overview citations coming from top-10 organic results falling from roughly 76% to 38%. A separate 2026 study found 55.2% of AI citations sat outside the traditional top ten entirely, which means a brand can hold position three and be absent from the answer a buyer actually reads.
Most marketing teams cannot see any of it. Search Console reports impressions and clicks. It says nothing about whether an assistant recommends you, describes you accurately, or sends buyers to a competitor instead.
Our position, stated plainly
Optimisation is largely SEO. Measurement is not.
Google's own documentation says optimising for its generative features is still SEO, and names llms.txt, content chunking and AI-specific schema as unnecessary. We agree. The work that earns citations is mostly search work done properly. What is genuinely new is the ability to see whether it worked, across platforms that behave very differently from each other.
That is an unusual thing for an agency in this category to say. It removes a convenient story and it costs us deals. We would still rather lose one to that sentence than win one without it.
How we work
- Measurement first. No recommendation is written before there is a baseline you can check.
- Named accountability. Every engagement has a named owner. Every research page names its author and its reviewer.
- Published method. Our measurement methodology is public, including the limitations, and our research publication standard is too.
- Evidence labels on everything. Verified, Observed, Estimated, Demo, Updated. If a number has no label, we have not published it.
- Scope honesty. There is a published list of things we will not sell you, and a glossary that says which terms are synonyms being sold as separate services.
What we are not claiming
We are early. Rather than dress that up, here is the current state.
| Claim other firms make | Our position | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Client logo wall | None on this site | We will not display a relationship we cannot evidence with permission |
| Performance statistics | None of our own yet | Every figure here is third-party research, labelled and sourced |
| Global offices | None | We work remotely across seven markets. No local business markup anywhere |
| A product suite | One tool, in build | Described honestly, with no fabricated dashboard screenshots |
| Published research | A registered protocol, no results | The study protocol is public before the data exists |
These will change as the work accumulates. When they do, we will date the change rather than quietly update the page.
Where we work
Seventeen verticals: B2B categories including SaaS, ecommerce, fintech, healthcare, legal and B2B technology, and local trades including plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical, dental and veterinary. Seven markets: the United States, United Kingdom, UAE, Australia.
We add a vertical or a market when we have something specific to say about it. Not when a keyword exists.
